Our sanctuary at 515 W 4th Street — named one of the Eight Wonders of Thomas County, and still ringing the first church bell ever rung in the county.
Welcome

Meet Rev. Shelly L Holle, our pastor.

Pastor Shelly serves First Presbyterian Colby in a shared pastorate with Faith Lutheran Church of Oberlin, Kansas — a congregation she was baptized and raised in herself. Before her ordination as a Minister of Word and Sacrament, she worked as a Christian educator, with degrees in music, communication, theatre, and education. She believes God brought her back to her roots to serve both congregations.

Organized 1886. Celebrating 140 years, November 1, 2026.

Three charter members and eighteen letters of faith gathered at the Thomas County Court House in 1886 to organize this church. Today, in the same Romanesque sanctuary dedicated in 1923, we're preparing to celebrate 140 years of ministry — and we'd love for you to be part of the next chapter.
